The studio
Obstinate is a VR development and consulting studio located in the Bay Area, California. Founded by Storm Griffith in 2024, the studio brings new concepts to Mixed and Virtual Reality across games, artistic experiences, and consumer applications.
The work sits between cutting-edge technology and artistry: impactful projects, innovative development practices, and partnerships with industry veterans and newcomers alike.

Founder / developer
Storm Griffith is a multi-disciplinary games developer and artist specializing in PC and mobile VR, practicing since 2014. Self-taught, he works across Unity, Unreal Engine, C#, technical systems, level design, 3D production, lighting, performance analysis, tuning, and game systems design.
Storm is also a public speaker, appearing in panels to discuss the arts, project retrospectives, and the future of immersive development.
